Is there anyone with some arcane knowledge of the printing history of the Loeb edition of Aristotle’s Poetics? A customer sent an enquiry about a copy I have for sale Publisher: Harvard / Heinemann MCMLXXVII [1977] Description: The Loeb Classical Library edition of Aristotle was issued in twenty three volumes. Vol.XXI This bilingual edition was first published in 1932 with parallel Greek and English texts. They wanted to know 1. Was this book printed in the UK or the US ? 2. Is there a rectangle in green ink surrounding the print on the title page ? My reply stated <<< This is the Loeb edition first published in 1932, Corrected in 1944 and then reprinted multiple times.
