This was an issue we struggled with for quite a while before finding a solution. I eventually found that adding an Interface directive (https://help.oclc.org/Library_Management/EZproxy/Configure_resources/Interface) before the Credo Reference stanza resolved this for us. This is what the Credo Reference stanza we use looks like:

Interface Any



You just need to replace the xx.xx.x.xx in the first Interface directive with one of the IP addresses on the server where you have EZproxy installed. Hopefully this will work for you as well.

Hi,



I see there was a thread last year about people seeing a "Connection refused by search.credoreference.com" the first time they attempt to connect in a session. It's a bit random, but I'm finding that it will general but often slowly connect at the second or third attempt.



We've just bought our first title.



I've tried the OCLC stanza and also the Credo one. Has anyone managed to resolve this issue?
