Hi Jackie

It's under the password reset option. I tried the following workaround which is used on my Summon stanza, and originated from ScienceDirect from several years ago. Alas, to no avail, the code has double quotes on the api link not single quotes – however, it just removes the iframe without fixing the state so one cannot submit the request. The only workaround would be to use VPN or remote desktop off campus.

I had a go to create a user account at IGI-Global via our Ezproxy. I couldn’t see the Google Recaptcha option and I was able to create the account.



For Google Recaptcha to work with Ezproxy is very difficult or impossible, however, as I remember there was a long discussion about Google recaptcha issue either on Google Scholar, Ebsco, or Proquest topic. Someone did share their workaround for that but I didn’t have a chance to test it under our environment.  You can browse the Ezproxy list Archive to find it out.

IGI Global ebooks allow for a full book download, but this requires the user to create an account. Unfortunately, there is a non-working captcha in the way. I’ve tried adding a number of NeverProxy directives, but without success. Has anyone got this working?
