Hi Steve,

HTTP Headers can be altered and allowed/denied with the HTTPHeader directive - https://help.oclc.org/Library_Management/EZproxy/Configure_resources/HTTPHeader

i.e. to allow the CERT_SUBJECT request header to be passed through for all resources:

HTTPHeader -global -request -process CERT_SUBJECT

Repeat as needed (typically in the config.txt before your stanza definitions) unless it’s resource specific.

Kind regards,
Ben

Subject: [EZPROXY-L] Allowing Select HTTP Headers in EZProxy

Hello EZProxy Community.

It appears that EZProxy 6.5.2 for Windows suppresses some HTTP headers related to PKI client certificates such as [CERT_SUBJECT], [CERT_SERIALNUMBER], etc. - perhaps even by design. Is it possible to direct or configure EZProxy to allow these header variables to pass through? I'm particularly focused on [CERT_SUBJECT].

Best regards,

Steve Brown
