WOS account login issue after Author Searching

Hi All,

I just received WOS account login issue from our users. I can replicate the same issue at my login by following steps. Has anyone seeing these new issues? Any suggestion on changing the stanzas?

The issues only occur when accessing via Ezproxy. We are using the most up to date stanzas that provided by Clarivate back in to mid-October, when we have access issue with the new Author Search function.  I have log a ticket with Clarivate support, will keep you all posting on any progress.


·         Access WOS via ezproxy, our access URL is https://ezproxy.uow.edu.au/login?url=https://webofknowledge.com/WOS

·         Click on “Author Search”

·         Conducting author search by surname, eg. braunack-mayer

·         Click on one of the author names from the search result, then click on “Correct the record” under “Improve this author record”

·         Sign In pop up window appears

·         However, the Sign In window will not go to the next screen after I entering my WOS account detail (100% sure my WOS login are correct). And the whole screen just freeze. (see attached screenshot)

·         On the author search result screen, instead using the Sign In pop up window,  I come across the same issue when I tried to logging in by clicking on Sign In (from the top right menu bar).

·         Also, there is icon/image display issue on the Author Search result page (see screenshot results.png). Many icons/images are missing and can’t be displayed correctly.
