Proquest and Google Classroom

Back in Feb 2019, I posted an issue using Google Classroom within the
Proquest interface when using EZProxy.

The underlying issue is that the authentication handshake between GC and PQ
needs to be exactly search.proquest.com and Proqust is not willing to
configure a wildcard hostname with Google, if that is even possible.
Although when we reported this to Gale, they quickily resolved it for us.

Has anyone been working on this and maybe have an update or work around?
