Re: Nexis Uni / LexisNexis stanza

For Lexis Library, Lexis Library International and Nexis (Nexis Advance UK), I put everything together on one stanza which works at the top level. We noticed recently that Lexis Library News is on a new site with a code too, and again it is not possible to use deep links.

For Nexis, however, deep links are working (you may need to customise the URL by removing == chars and changing federationidp to identityprofileid so that the links look like: https://advance.lexis.com/api/search?source=MTA2MTg3Ng&context=1519360&identityprofileid=[InstID<https://advance.lexis.com/api/search?source=MTA2MTg3Ng&context=1519360&identityprofileid=%5bInstID>] (your link provider can apply a formula such that the links are auto updated if not correct already).

For Westlaw, I had to go back to TR Support a few times to ensure the IP address for EZproxy was enabled and ask for on sp code to be removed (I'm told that the new databases do not use sp codes so that may not be relevant now but it is relevant on Westlaw International). I also added a library managed holdings database to provide users with an A-Z listing as well as enabling the zero title database, Westlaw UK Journals (Full Text) enabled which can provide direct linking to articles from Summon (if the articles accession number is indexed).

I merged the stanzas for Westlaw products but I am considering demerging them to see if the (i) information placards on most Westlaw UK journal publications can be fixed. This is above the legacy Westlaw UK stanza.

Hi Andrea,

We are having a very similar problem. Collection level is fine, but you can only enter at journal level if you have previously been in at collection level and authenticated yourself. I have a case open with Nexis, and they sent me a new stanza, but that hasn't helped. I'll let you know if they can solve it.
We have a very similar problem with Westlaw; are you using the Ex Libris LMS?

Everything works fine as long as authentication is accomplish prior accessing LexisNexis.com

If delete history and cookies and then try to reload the website with EZproxy bookmarklet, you get caught at sign-in website https://signin.lexisnexis.com.
This is also the behaviour after the expiration of cookie set by LexisNexis.
Any recommendations?
