Hi, We just had a patron alert us that they can no longer view Sanborn's full-size map image when they are outside the library. It sounds like they do this fairly often so I believe this is a new problem. What's a little odd is the first time I tested outside our network (on my home computer) I was able to view the larger image ok (even though I'd never used that database before). However, it didn't work on my phone and when I tried again about an hour later, it no longer worked on my home computer either. My best guess is that's a red herring, but I'm not sure. In any case, I can no longer see the larger image on any computer I try outside the library network. To replicate the error: 1) Via EZproxy, I access the Sanborn maps here: https://ezproxy.spl.org/login?url=http://sanborn.umi.com 2) Login to EZproxy with my patron username and password. 3) Click Browse and Explore and choose the various option until I can see a map thumbnail. 4) When I click on the thumbnail to get the larger image, the page reloads and says "Unable to open [object.Object]: Unable to load TileSource" My Chrome console says "No TileSource was able to open /data/maps/al/reel01/0001/0001.xml #document" (titlesource.js:692) We're on EZproxy 6.1.16 Proquest said to use this stanza: T Digital Sanborn Maps U http://sanborn.umi.com DJ sanborn.umi.com Title Digital Sanborn Maps Geo Edition URL http://sanbornmaps.proquest.com DJ sanbornmaps.proquest.com NeverProxy sanborn1.proquest.com Above that, we also had this: Option HttpsHyphens HTTPHeader X-Requested-With Title ProQuest URL http://search.proquest.com/ip NeverProxy flow.proquest.com NeverProxy order.proquest.com NeverProxy rss.proquest.com HJ africanamericanheritage.proquest.com HJ congressional.proquest.com HJ digitalmicrofilm.proquest.com HJ fedsearch.proquest.com HJ fold3library.proquest.com HJ gateway.proquest.com HJ https://datasets.proquest.com HJ https://fold3library.proquest.com HJ https://trials.proquest.com HJ hv.proquest.com HJ literature.proquest.com HJ media2.proquest.com HJ newspaperslibrary.proquest.com HJ pqrc.proquest.com HJ proquest.umi.com HJ prq.st HJ sanborn.umi.com HJ sanborn.umi.com HJ statab.conquestsystems.com HJ statabs.proquest.com HJ statistical.proquest.com HJ trials.proquest.com HJ wt3.proquest.com HJ www.proquest.com HJ www.proquestk12.com DJ conquest-leg-insight.com DJ conquestsystems.com DJ m.search.proquest.com DJ media.proquest.com DJ medicalevidencematters.com DJ proquest.com DJ proquestk12.com DJ umi.com Find window.location.host=="congressional.proquest.com" Replace true Option NoHttpsHyphens Proquest suggested we try the newest OCLC stanza ( https://help.oclc.org/Library_Management/EZproxy/Database_stanzas/ProQuest) instead. Though I see a note saying this is suppose to be compatible with 6.2.2 and above. My next step is probably to upgrade EZproxy but I'd really rather not do that this month if I can possibly avoid it. Any other suggestions of things we can try? Thanks!
