Re: (GRE Success! ) Kings college: Help Needed

Dear All, 

Thanks a lot everybody...At least now I know the perspective of my seniors. :)
Yesterday I got acceptance from "University College Cork, Ireland" also. 

Although my own preference is for course "Advanced Computing" at KCL as the course in "Telecom Bretagne" is specific to those interested in telecom. But the problem is, I don't have sufficient funds for KCL. :(

KCL has always been my dream but I don't know, even after being accepted if I will be able to pursue my Masters their. 
Anyways... I am trying hard for Scholarships mentioned on KCL's website. 

Could someone please let me know about how easy or difficult it is to get one of the following Scholarships?
	* Aga Khan Foundation

	* British Chevening Scholarships
	* ESED Scholarship

	* Inlaks Scholarships

	* JN Tata Endowment Scholarships

	* King's International Graduate Scholarships (PGT)

	* King’s Alumni Bursaries (PGT)

	* King’s International Partnership Scholarships (KIPS) - PGT

	* The Anglo-Jewish Association Scholarship

If there is anybody who has ever got such a scholarship, please respond to me I need you badly.

In my opinion, people prefer UK to Germany/France/Norway because there are more number of UK universities which come in Top 100 in the world as compared to universities of Germany/France/Norway.

Dear Srihari,

Maybe i am wrong but why are people paying such high fees to go to UK instead of Germany/France/Norway etc. The job opportunities are very good as compared to UK ,education is almost free and even better standards. With 7000 pounds you can get full master degree even living in very best place as compared to UK. Now there are more Indians in Europe and should educated the common people especially those with less money...

Hello Ravi,

King's College does have more repute, but a scholarship always helps. What is your personal preference? Do you see one course being better than the other in terms of career opportunities, etc?
