Yes, really the labs from both the schools looks good.
About funding,
I inquired from students there, please find below there comments
UCF:
One prof. related to Vision has funding and may give RA while the other
does not has research funding but he can arrange for a TA.
I tried to contact the profs by describing my profile but did not receive
any reply.

UMC:
Right now the prof. does not have funding but after seeing a students
performance, may be  for a semester, he may provide funding.
The professor there replied, saying  he will be happy to later consider me
for a graduate
research position in his lab, unfortunately he cannot guarantee about
funding right now.

I will myself dig deeper in to the websites and let you know if I find
anything.
