Hello Anahita,

I meant email lists, either run by students or by the school. Here is one I
found that is run by the school:

http://www.uofaweb.ualberta.ca/uai_current/uaisn.cfm

Similar to our group, there may be Yahoo! Groups or Google Groups, or as
some schools' students are doing nowadays, a facebook page for incoming
students.

You should search on Google for such groups.
