Dear Srihari,

I will try n find if there is something about US consulate n let u kno on
this.

Raghu,
Probably I will go to Delhi this time coz my parents are in Rajasthan and I
am going to show all the documents from there itself.
I am not choosing Rutgers coz of the following reasons:
1. Its research in Computer Vision/Image Processing does not look very
interesting to me. There is a lab there but I am not sure how good is it.
2. A student there has told me many of the related courses gets cancelled
there due to scarcity of students.
3. Among the 2 Vision Prof. in ECE dept, 1 has told me that he has no
position for this Fall.
4. It is much expensive.

I think I can not choose Rutgers now coz I have already told the Visa
Officer that it does not have good research in my domain. If she had
written it in her file, then I gues it could cause problems. What do you
think of my reasons, are they strong enough to reject a good school like
Rutgers?

Sincerely,
Akshay Jain.
