(GRE Success! ) Balk/Baulk

Hello Everyone,

I was reading the FT (a British Publication) summary on the US Fiscal Cliff
issue, and saw "balk" spelled as "baulk". I must admit, I was surprised,
and did a little bit of checking to end up with this:

In the US, we almost always use balk.
