Hello Shailesh

I am sure Srihari or someone else will get back to you in further details. I would like to mention a couple of things. You haven't mentioned whether you'll be applying for MS program or PhD or MS-Phd. Presently, here in US, funding for MS has almost trickled down to a minimum. Even some unfunded PhDs are also being offered. So, it will be difficult to secure funding for MS, if it's so. The bad news is your TOEFL score is a problem for securing funding. I would suggest, maybe you should think once more to secure a good score in TOEFL as it will increase your prospect of funding.

Best of luck.

Thanks and Regards

Suvadeep Banerjee

Subject: (GRE Success! ) MS ECE application help

Hello Everyone,

Although I am not a new to this group, this is my first post. I really enjoy the discussions in this group.
Today I need little advice on my application.

I gave my GRE in Sep 2011, and just finished my TOEFL few months back. My scores are
GRE: Verbal- 143, quant- 159, AWA- 3.0
Toefl: 81
CGPA: 3.26/4.0
I completed my Bachelor's in Electronics & Communication in 2010.
I also have experience of 1.5 years and other extra curricular experience.

I know I have really messed up with my scores, but don't want to appear for it again.
I wish to apply for Fall 2013 in Electrical and Computer programs.
Although previously I planned to apply for some good universities but due to my low scores I have shortlisted few colleges that will be easier to get admission:

> Southern Illinois University
> Northern Illinois University Carbondale
> Utah state University
> Univ of Texas Arlington
> University of Toledo

Please make review on this.

Since, I cannot support my studies I am looking for RA/TA to support my studies. Also looking for Universities that provide much scholarship.
Although you do not suggest for universities here, some recommendations based on my scores and requirements are highly appreciated.

Waiting in anticipation.
Thank you,

Shailesh
