(GRE Success! ) Re: Sentence Correction Question

While HAVING a portfolio may not be essential for many positions, having
physical representations, THAT YOU CAN SHARE UPON REQUEST, off your work
will make you look good because you went that extra mile.

1) "Having" makes the two clauses parallel to each other
2) "That you can share upon request" modifies physical representations and
not "work" as in the original sentence.

There are other errors which I can recognize but not correct. Let me know
if I am correct and other errors.
