Hi again Thanks for answering. Actually if this question came up in a written test like the GMAT, then it would certainly be beneficial to consider "it" a mistake in the sentence. But in general talking and understanding I think it'll pass as acceptable. P.S. - The second "it" has no antecedent in the above sentence but in general conversation [it] is understood. Sorry for the useless joke :D :D.
