Youth Action Against discrimination is a 7-days summer
school organized by "The Student Organization of
Political Sciences (SSPO)" that will take place
between 7-14 August in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We have
the pleasure to invite youth organizations from abroad
to take part in and build together this project that
will address the problems of discrimination,
marginality, minorities rights and conflict
transformation.

Our goal is to initiate an international network of
youth organizations that will function for finding the
appropriate strategies and tools required to fight
against discrimination of all kinds internationally
and in their local communities. The network shall have
Platform for Action and also an online magazine to
disseminate a great amount of information in this
field in the form of articles, essays, reports and
interviews).

A combination of workshops, panel discussions,
exhibitions, artistic displays, documentaries, etc
will address the following topics: Religious beliefs
as a criteria for discrimination; The restrictive
nature of the notion of citizenship; The immigration

NGO s as essential actors to fight against
discrimination.
The leading speakers, trainers and artistic groups
from the local or national level shall be invited to
carry out workshops, have presentations for the panel
discussions or to perform during the artistic events.

The summer school will gather 35 participants from
around Europe and Romania. The organizers will cover

half of their travel expenses.
