hold on 19-21 December 2002 the International Conference
"Human Sciences in the Modern World"
 
The discussion of the following problems is planned for a conference:
	o Human being as the measure of all things, ideas and deeds
	o Human being as an object of knowledge
	o Philosophy of human being in history of philosophy
	o Human being as an object of history
	o Human being as an object of science
	o Human being in the context of social, political, cultural and ecological studies
	o Philosophical anthropology and historiosophical personology
	o Ethics and medical deontology: history, problems and perspectives 
	o Modern thanatology: eternal subjects and actual problems
	o "Homo Interneticus": person in the space of virtual communication

In the framework of the conference the following Round tables will be held:
xModern problems of bioethics: achievements in science and moral responsibility (Chair: Corresponding member of RAS, Director of the Institute of Human Studies Boris G. Yudin)
xAnthropology of education (Chair: Head of the department of history of philosophy, Faculty of philosophy of man, Pedagogical University, Professor Aleksei A. Griakalov)
xMeeting with members of the Editorial Board of the Chelovek journal

Proposals for additional topics will be welcome.
The working languages are Russian and English.
