CIMERA internship in kyrgyzstan

CIMERA is offering a 4 month internship starting in February 2003 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) to a student or graduate students with pedagogical interests and competence in Russian or Kyrgyz. You will assist the education specialist in the Multilingual Governance Project.
Your responsibilities will be as follows: 

-         assist and conduct methodological trainings for kindergarten educators and primary teachers 

-         consult educators and teachers on methodology 

-          organize and support  mutual consulting of the kindergarten educators.

-         Assist and conduct supervision of teacher-students in their practical trainings.     

You should have the following qualifications:

-         Experience in teaching or working with children (age 3-9)

-         Good command of Russian and/or Kyrgyz

-         Strong interest in pedagogy 

-         Experienced or interested in working in the NIS, or be ready to work and live under difficult conditions
