INTERNATIONAL SUMMER ACADEMY LATVIA MIRROR VALMIERA JULY 25 - AUGUST 4 2002 Summer Academy in Latvia is an annual international creative summer camp to favour the development of international culture links, to give a possibility for the participants of the Summer Academy - art teachers, students and in art interested individuals to broaden their outlook and to make personal contacts with the participants and teachers of different nationalities. THE THEME "MIRROR" REFLECTS ATTITUDE OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL TOWARDS OUTER WORLD. The planned workshops and their leaders PAINTING - Ivars Aizkalns (Latvia) GRAPHIC ART - Maruta Grase (Latvia) ART AND CREATIVITY - Ole B. Lindqvist and Ieva Vitola - Lindqvist (Denmark) MAN/DANCE/SPACE - Liene Prigiceva (Latvia) THEATRE WORKSHOP "SHAKSPEAR TODAY" - Kristian Bohdal (Germany) PHOTO/VIDEO - Gaidars Paegle, Astrida Konstante (Latvia) ARTS AND HEALING - Ingrida Indane, Nils Ile (Latvia) PUPPET THEATRE (for children 7-15 years of age) - Laila Kirmuska (Latvia) Evening seminars and lectures are also planned The participation fee - 200 EUR including food and accommodation.
