The Nevsky Institute of Language and Culture (St. Petersburg) accepts applications for the following programs:

I. Summer Program in Russian Language and Culture
July 1 - July 31
Level of language required:
- Elementary
- Pre-intermediate
- Intermediate

Amount of academic hours:
Grammar - 6 academic hours per week
Conversation - 6 academic hours per week
Culture - 2 academic hours per week
Educational Outings - 4 academic hours per week
Total per week: 18 academic hours

Excursions:
One excursion per week. 
- City tour by bus
- St. Peter and Paul Fortress
- Pushkin and Pavlovsk
- Hermitage

Accommodation
Host family (good location), two meals

Visa support and transfer

Cost of the Program:  $700

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

July 1-15 at Nevsky the Summer School for Russian students will be held. If you wish you can join this program for additional $50. 
This price will cover:
- lectures and workshops on Intercultural Communication (in English) - 8 academic hours
- workshops and training on psychology of communication (in Russian) - 4-6 academic hours
- parties, discussions, round tables with Russian students.   


II. Intensive Course for Advanced Studies
July 15 - Luly 28

Level of language required:
- advanced 

The course is designed for students who have an advanced level of Russian. The aim of the course is to increase speaking, listening and interpreter skills in functional capacity. The use of difficult grammar constructions in speech, fluency, grammar and intonation correctness, translation are given particular importance.

Amount of academic hours:
Grammar - 10 academic hours per week
Conversation - 10 academic hours per week
Translation - 10 academic hours per week
Total per week: 30 academic hours

Excursions:
City tour by bus
Hermitage
Two day trip to Novgorod

Accommodation:
Host family (good location), two meals

Visa support and transfer
