Dear colleagues Thank you for sending your first draft activity sequences and example worksheets. These are now all up on the ftp site (in deliverables/D7.1.1_8.1.1). Each Activity Sequence has a folder, and within this, on the top level is the Activity Sequence, with worksheets in a subfile (named worksheets). Each Activity Sequence has a number - you will see this on the top level folder names. When the individual activities are finalised, we will also number these (e.g. for Randomness, the first activity will be 1.1, the second 1.2 etc) - these numbers should appear in the footer of the appropriate worksheet. A document describing the activity and worksheet design will be sent by email shortly. We need to deliver all the activity sequences (including descriptions of all activities, collaboration and assessment points), and a sample of worksheets (as many as you are able to complete) by the end of November. Please send your final drafts to Sophie by 20 NOVEMBER. We are also putting together a schedule for the testing of activities - please let Sophie know which activities you intend to test with children this term and next term. Instructions for each partner appear below: Bulgaria - We hope that this term you will be able to test the two general introductory activities for the number activity sequences. These are entitled counting_robots.doc and number_sequence_challenge.doc and are in the folder named 2_Conv_Div (within folder D7.1.1_8.1.1) on the ftp site (apologies that the files are too large to attach here). Please let Sophie know when you will be testing these, and what you plan to test next term. Portugal - We hope that this term you will be able to test the two general introductory activities for the number activity sequences. Sweden - Please let Sophie know which of the Ecoliteracy activities you will be testing this term and next term, when you will be doing this and and which partner you are planning to collaborate with. Cyprus - Attached are the two general introductory activities for the number activity sequences which we hope you will be able to test this term. Please let Sophie know which of the 1D collisions activities you will be testing this term and next term. Italy - Please let Sophie know which of the Randomness activities you will be testing this term and next term, when you will be doing this and and which partner you are planning to collaborate with. If any of this is unclear, please do not hesitate to contact Sophie, Gordon or Yishay. We look forward to hearing from you.
