I am forwarding an email from Carlos Oliveira, our EC Commissioner,
regarding a forthcoming conference which he  would like us to participate
in.  Unfortunately neither Richard or Celia are available at that time, but
as this is a good opportunity to disseminate WebLabs, we would be very
grateful if any of the partners are able to participate.

I'm contacting you to make you aware of the inclusion as part of the
official programme of the WCC IFIP conference in Toulouse 22-27/08/2004 (see
http://www.wcc2004.org/) of a specific session on "School eLaboratories" and
the use of novel pedagogical and evaluation theories". This topic is
explicitly addressed by several of our projects funded by the European
Commission (e.g. COLDEX, LAB of TOMORROW, CONNECT, WEBLABS, DIVILAB, CO-LAB,
LAB@FUTURE).

We would like to encourage you to make more visible to a large audience of
this event the achievements of your project and how EC-funded research is
contributing to advance the state of knowledge in this field.

Mr. Costas Davarakis ([email protected]) from Systema Technologies is in
charge of organisation of this event and he will be at your disposal to
discuss with you the modalities of your participation.
