Hi,

	There could be perhaps a possible "advanced user" feature here:
using shift+mouse move could move the hand relative to the object being
held. This way you could even move it to the left of a small object, for
those times that you want to position it by the right side.

	A harder change would be to be able to even change the place where
you arm comes from, in the same manner.

I've had many similar problems when working with very long boxes.
