Gordon & I discussed this here some time ago. Here's a suggestion we 
came up with:
When you register, the e-mail box is primed with the string 
"yourmail-SPXQTMr/SINWk0Htik3J/[email protected]". If I don't want to supply an email, I just 
leave it at that, and the system regards it as an empty address.
