And probably all Emacs versions are affected? If nobody protests, I'll put out 11.55 tomorrow. There will have to be updates to version numbers in the usual places, and maybe an update of RELEASE. I am sorry that I am not much of a help right now with the release work as I am still working on getting preview-latex into releasable state. Even when others do the preparation, doing the release properly until it works completely will still take hours for me in my experience.
