Since the current version of CVS Emacs is supposed to contain a rather
current version of RefTeX, and since the author of RefTeX himself is
the person that is checking RefTeX into CVS Emacs, you should perhaps
contact him and report the problem.  I am somewhat puzzled since the
last checkin of RefTeX has been just 3 days ago:
