Success installing AUCTeX 11.54 on Windows XP

Hi

the AUCTeX manual asks for reports of success/failure installing under 
MS Windows.  In the last few weeks I have installed AUCTeX 11.54 on 4 
different PCs running Windows XP Pro  (my home desktop, my laptop, my 
work desktop and a colleague's desktop).   I used MSYS from MinGW as 
suggested, and I had installed MIKTeX 2.4 and GNU Emacs 21.3 for Windows 
in each case.  I used 'tex-mik.el' as suggested, and so "View" launches 
YAP or Acrobat as appropriate.  Each installation worked perfectly (once 
I typed all the options to ./configure correctly).  It did seem strange 
to be running a configure script on Windows!
