Thanks. A more detailed discussion of how BBDB can act more or less aggressively might help more people. At the same time, it's a complex business because there are so many options and so many personal preferences of how one may want to combine these options that this can become yet more overwhelming than just listing the options one by one (as already at the beginning of bbdb.el).
