I hadn't heard of breadcrumb-mode.  I'll need to try it out.

I've just committed the changes to master.  Also to the XEmacs project
(which is still live), and to the CC Mode hg repository at

    ssh://<Username>@hg.savannah.nongnu.org/cc-mode

..  I moved it from SourceForge some while ago after some unsavoury
changes in their terms and conditions.  I haven't yet got around to
moving the mailing list.  I really ought to press on with this.
