I created a fresh pull from CEDET/bzr without my change to shell,
created a small generic project (to try a third EDE project type), and
ran the program and replicated the problem where I have two buffers with
the EDE shell in it.

I pulled my patch in, and have verified that the problem is fixed.

I'm not sure what else might be going on unless my patch didn't get
installed correctly.

I was able to check that fix into bzr, so this time you could just
update your copy and rebuild to verify.
