Hi,
Sounds interesting... Maybe we need a new ecb option where a user can define several regexps which would clump such groups of file-buffers and indirect file-buffers together....
Waht do you think: would it be senseful, displaying non file-related buffers in the history too (e.g. grep- or help-buffers)? Or is it sufficient to have these buffers in the buffers-menu of Emacs and several buffer-switching-libraries like ido.el?

Betreff: Re: AW: [ECB-list] feature request: to show indirect buffers in "history"window
Hi
Generally speaking i had another idea: for example, there is a large project with a great number of files, and there are various tasks in this project. So i thought it could be convenient to group buffers according to various tasks. It could be fulfiled through renaming buffers, for example like this:
task1-aaa.pl
task1-bbb.c
task1-ccc.sh
...
taskN-xxx.java
taskN-ccc.sh
ccc.sh - is a common file for task1 and taskN task1-ccc.sh - renamed buffer with this file taskN-ccc.sh - indirect buffer
tasks may be for example bug numbers
i.e. i thought about something like virtual folders
