Hi, I can't reproduce neither 1 nor 2. Tested with GNU Emacs 23.0.92.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600) on Windows XP with my ECB CVS-repository.... And current ECB-code Ediff works perfectly (tested with ediff-revision, tested by calling it with M-x and also by using the popup-menu of ECB in the sources-window Vc-next-action works too even when a compile-window is visible (a frame-wide)... So, my plea: please submit A) a problem report with the command ecb-submit-problem-report B) a simple Emacs-setup (as simple as possible) which allows to reproduce the problems C) a step-by-step scenario which i can use to reproduce (beginning with start of Emacs!!) IMPORTANT: For A) you have first to update ECB (either direct from CVS or by installing latest CVS-snapshot - i have just updated it some minutes ago) because i have fixed a bug in ecb-submit-problem-report! No comment please... ;-) Thanks for your help! Klaus -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet: Freitag, 8. (1) when exiting *Ediff Control Panel* (started with (ediff-revision) i receive the ecb message: ECB 2.33 - Error: Killing an special ECB-buffer is not possible. (2) if the compilation buffer is visible, and i execute (vc-next-action) i receive the message: window is dedicated to `*compilation*' and vc-next-action fails (it should open temp buffer to enter change comments). if the compilation buffer is not visible it works correctly. this was previously working with emacs 22, ecb-snap (2007-04-09) and cedet cvs (2007-04-09). -- james ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The NEW KODAK i700 Series Scanners deliver under ANY circumstances!
