First of all you should read the documentation and here the link:
http://ecb.sourceforge.net/docs/First-steps.html#First-steps

What is ecb 2.0?? If you mean really 2.0 then this is completely outdated...
Even more: a version 2.0 has never existed...

What is the value of the variable `ecb-version'?

Best Regards
Klaus

Hello all:

I just put :
(require 'ecb) in my .emacs and emacs normally but nothing happened.
My intention is to run the final customization using emacs --daemon.

When emacs starts and I invoke
M-x ecb-activate
The windows are displayed, which tells me the installation is correct.

What else do I need to get the ecb windows showing when I open any file?
ecb version 2.0

Thank you in advance.
