method buffer for everything in current project / directory

Hi,

Is there some way to see all typedefs[1] and functions in the current
project / current directory in the methods buffer? Perhaps the best
situation for me would be to have two method buffers: one for the current
file, and one for the whole directory / project.

Alternatively, is there an ecb / semantic alternative to find-tag-other-window
that I can use to quickly look up the definition of a type / function that
is not defined in the file I am currently editing?

Sorry if this is a trivial question. I looked around in the manual a little
but did not find a quick solution. The closest match I've found is to turn
on semantic-imenu-index-directory.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Mandar.

[1] I don't use C++ at all, and Java only rarely, so this is really a
question in the context of C and sometimes emacs-lisp.
