ECB: Help etc. splits window three-way

Hi!

I have another problem: Since a couple of days, whenever I call a help screen (e.g. C-h f), or some other function that splits the screen, the window is split first horizontally, and then again vertically. So I have two sub-windows showing the same buffer, and the extra-buffer (e.g. help). How can I change that behaviour? I remember setting the the ECB-window layout sizes via ecb-store-window-sizes. I think that was the only ECB setting I changed.
