Displaying Fortran methods in ecb-2.32

Hi,


I am just joining the list, questions arising during setup of an ecb
installation.


I am running an XEmacs version 21.4 from year 2001.

I wanted to benefit from the improved source browsing experience, so I
installed the package ecb-2.32 in user-space.
It's not possible for me to install the CEDET, or at least it seems not to
be so easy.

I am happy with what brings ecb-2.32.
However I am not able to see the Fortran functions in the Methods Buffer,
which remains empty. This would be prettily handy !

I read the following

which says that ECB should be able to parse Fortran files using "etags".
"Etags" works indeed, I was able to create a "TAGS" file for my project
and to navigate the code using "tags-search" and alikes.

Everything works for Java code (methods appear in the buffer), however
Java seems to be supported by semantic.

Can you tell me if I missed something in order to use the etags ability to
parse Fortran files ?

I am quite a long-time emacs user, but I always used basic editing
facilities, I am not confortable with customizing the Lisp internals...

I defined the "ecb-source-path" and I set "speedbar-use-imenu-flag" to "nil".
