Setting window sizes

Hello everyone,

I am a rather recent user of ECB, which does a lot of things I like. For the moment my main source of trouble is that I can't get ECB to start up with the window sizes I set, no matter how I try. I tried both setting ecb-window-width and using ecb-store-window-sizes to store manually adjusted sizes. Neither one seems to have any effect. Any ideas?

In case it matters, I use ECB 2.40 with Emacs 23.2.1 under MacOS X 10.6.
