Hi there, I am a bit baffled to be honest. I have been using ECB for a long time, but lately it started doing something I have no explanation for. The scenario is this: 1. I have a file open in my only edit window, say abc.erl 2. I compile it, ECB correctly opens a new compile window called *erlang* and compiles the file 3. I click in the compile window 4. I go to the sources window and select another (closed) file, "hex.erl" and click it or press enter 5. The buffer opens in the *erlang* (compile) window instead of in the edit window 6. If I display debug output, the third line displays "curr window #<window 21 on hex.erl>": ECB 2.40 layout debug [08:54:05] switch-to-buffer buffer: hex.erl ECB 2.40 layout debug [08:54:05] switch-to-buffer curr-buffer: hex.erl ECB 2.40 layout debug [08:54:05] switch-to-buffer curr-buffer: hex.erl, curr window #<window 21 on hex.erl> ECB 2.40 layout debug [08:54:05] ecb-set-compile-window-height: enlarge/fit ECB 2.40 layout debug [08:54:05] ecb-toggle-compile-window-height: buffer: hex.erl, lines: 53 ECB 2.40 layout debug [08:54:05] ecb-layout-post-command-hook: enlarge ECB 2.40 layout debug [08:54:05] ecb-toggle-compile-window-height: buffer: hex.erl, lines: 53 I don't want ECB to ever open a file in the compile window and I am pretty sure it never did. So does anyone have an idea where to look for issues or settings that may be wrong?
