My proposal is to increase the new-ecb branch release to 2.41 and to make it available as an emacs package. Just M-x list-packages and see ecb there is a must. I'm using emacs-24.x and your new-ecb and it works fine. The only thing I've found is that every time I switch compile window visibility with ecb-toggle-compile-window I get different ecb windows sizes, narrower when compile window is not shown. Should I use the latest CEDET?? (I think it shouldn't matter for this issue).
