One data point here: I use the d12frosted builds (currently Emacs 30.2) =
and I only encounter startup delays when first running a new release. I =
expect it so I am not put off by the rare time when it happens. I do not =
usually quit Emacs, but restarts are pretty quick for me on my M1 =
laptop.
