I read there =E2=80=9Cdecline any legally significant contributions which
include LLM-generated content or are derived from LLM-generated content=E2=
=80=9D
and
=E2=80=9Cmaintainers are free to accept legally insignificant contributions
generated by an LLM=E2=80=9D.

This does not mean that they consider LLM content copyrightable, but
that if the content is small enough that it would not gain copyright
protection if written by a human, then it may be accepted.

Their exception for test cases (=E2=80=9Cmaintainers are free to accept leg=
ally
significant contributions to test cases, generated in whole or in part
by an LLM=E2=80=9D) may mean that depending on the outcome of legal battles=
 the
tests may have to be thrown away, but not the actual working code.
