Would these individual actions usually be done by calling Emacs Lisp
functions?  The rest of your message suggest that is so, but its language
is not concrete, so I am not sure what it concretely means.

If there are freedom-respecting LLMs, and we conclude we can recommend
Hermes, it is important to describe its use concretely, not in the
abstract terms which are customary in connection with LLMs and
harnesses.
