Stefan, choosing a helpful name rather than an unhelpful name for a
package is not bikeshedding.  It makes a real difference for users,
since it helps them understand whether they want to use that package.
A clear and helpful name makes the package more useful.

Arguing over a choice of names which are about equally helpful
would indeed be bikeshedding.
