Thank you!  I actually like
forward-only-mode as a name.  As for the
sounds, I did think about including some
but I decided to instead just expose a
couple of hooks where these sound effect
would be approriate.  

A middle ground perhaps would be if I
add some minimal infrastructure that
lets the user who wants the sounds just
set the value of a path where they have
these sound files?
