Efs hacking.

Hi,

I'm going to try and get VMS support working proper, but as this is my first
real xemacs hacking i would like to ask a for a few pointers as to how to go
about it:

firstly is everything i need to look at in efs-vms? by this i mean if for
example i find that efs cannot recognise my ftpserver as VMS, where would i
look?

secondly how would i go about refreshing efs every time i make a change to
the lisp?

and lastly, any hints and tips, debugging options etc i should be aware of?
