compiling error

Hello,

I tried to byte-compile-file this

(require 'eieio)

(defclass foo ()
  ())

(defmethod bar ((this foo))
  )


and I get this error

`eieio.el:8:1:Error: Symbol's value as variable is void: filename'

How can I get it to compile my file?
