I don't understand why that would be the case. "q" is already bound to
`'emms-playlist-mode-bury-buffer' in emms-playlist-mode.el.

If you invoke "C-h m" in a playlist buffer, you should see that "q" is
indeed bound to bury the buffer.

Can you please check that? I'd be interested to find out why it isn't
working.
