Just realized I left the queue file in JSONL format.  That was a
temporary testing thing =E2=80=94 I was using `jq` to inspect the output wh=
ile
implementing.  The real version uses S-expressions, which cuts out all
the `json-*` plumbing and is more at home in Elisp anyway.
