I'm not touching the output of M-x emacs-version at all. I also get

GNU Emacs 30.2 (build 1, aarch64-apple-darwin21.6.0, NS appkit-2113.60 Vers=
ion 12.6.1 (Build 21G217)) of 2025-08-14

This should come either from upstream, or from David Caldwell's build on wh=
ich my distribution is based.
